How to Program the DriverFocus System on Subaru Forester Touring
If you have a new Subaru Forester Touring, your car has a cool feature called the Driver Focus Distraction Mitigation System. This is an infrared camera that watches your face and if it thinks you’re falling asleep or not paying attention, it will beep at you to tell you to keep your eyes on the road. This is the safety/creepy part of the system. The convenient part is that it will recognize your face when you get in the car and set the driver’s seat and exterior rear view mirrors to your settings. However, it will only do this if you have registered your driver profile in the system. Watch my video to see how to do this!
Hourly Pay From Uber AFTER Expenses
How much can you make driving for Uber? One of the things I did with my Jetta TDI Sportwagen was drive for Uber with it. This turned out to not be as lucrative as I might have liked, but the work wasn’t hard and I was just trying to make enough per month to make the small car payment on that car. I made this video showing how much my actual hourly profit was after vehicle expenses. After I made this video Uber cut the per-mile pay rate in my area, so the total now would be even worse. I no longer drive for Uber.

Hypermiling in a Subaru WRX STI
My Subaru WRX STI is rated at 17 MPG in the City, 23 MPG on the Highway, and 19 MPG combined by the EPA. However I decided to try to see what fuel economy this car could actually get on the high end by doing a very long and very boring drive between Orange County, CA, and Sacramento, CA. I did not exceed 60 MPG during this 400+ mile slog, but the results were worth it. Watch the vid to see how I did!
